The Lone Star Race Series Returns for the 2026–2027 Season!
The Lone Star Race Series returns for the 2026–2027 season, building on the success of its inaugural year. The season once again begins in Sugar Land with the Sugar Land Half, celebrating its fifth year and setting the pace for a full slate of competitive racing. Year two of the series and of the Texas City Half gives racers another chance to return to the Dike for a scenic, peaceful PR chase on one of Texas’s flattest and potentially fastest courses.

Return to the Texas City shoreline and the iconic Texas City Dike for the second annual half marathon brought to you by the creators of the Sugar Land Half and Texas City Tri! Enjoy a flat, fast 10-mile course with stunning views of Galveston Bay, followed by a scenic 3.1-mile park stretch leading to a lively finish-line celebration. Run a rare, traffic-free course and soak in the experience from start to finish. Celebrate your achievement with medals, food, drinks, and the awards ceremony. Join us on Saturday, December 5, 2026, for year two of this unforgettable race!
